The journal is a high quality hybrid journal reflecting both scholarly and practice oriented work in the area of the administrative sciences and related fields, with some but not exclusive relation to Switzerland (e.g. author[s], institution[s], content, relevancy, interest etc.).
The Swiss Society for Administrative Sciences (SSAS) will publish another yearbook in 2018. The SGVW Board decided to publish the yearbook as an Open Access Journal with immediate effect through the following website: https://ssas.ubiquitypress.com/
This change allows us to publish the articles shortly after the submission date and the peer reviews and takes into account the requirements of the Swiss Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences (SAHS) and the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). The publication addresses science and practice and includes two main topics: The first part, the focus topic, is "Digital Administration". In the second part, an "Open Track", further articles on current administrative science topics may be submitted.
Abstracts for both parts: A) Digital Administration B) Open Track should be submitted to email@example.com.
The abstract needs to contain at least one page and cover the chosen topic as well as possible. Within 30 days after submission of the abstract, the editorial assistant will inform you about the reviewers' decision to accept the contributions. The complete article should then be submitted, and will undergo a detailed peer review. This process is handled through the online platform. There is no deadline for submission, but we would like to point out that the number of articles per year is limited and we will consider the selection on a first come, first serve basis, with preference for articles dealing with the focus topic. "Open Track" articles may be postponed to the following year.
